Most Zoho implementation partners configure software and move on. We started as agile coaches. That difference shows up in every system we build.
Matrix Connect Group did not start as a software company.
Troy Mobley spent years in enterprise technology, working across Canon, Konica Minolta, Ricoh, and Xerox, watching how large organizations ran their operations and what made the difference between teams that performed and teams that struggled. The answer was never the tools. It was always the methodology behind them.
He started Matrix Connect Group as an agile coaching and productivity consulting firm. The focus was on helping small and midsize businesses build the kind of operational discipline that actually creates growth.
Zoho One came later. Not as a product to sell, but as the technology backbone that made the methodology work at scale. A business with a well-designed process and a properly implemented Zoho system runs differently from one that just has software turned on.
That combination, methodology first, technology second, is what makes Matrix Connect Group a different kind of Zoho implementation partner.
Today MCG serves businesses across the DMV region and the United States, with every engagement still built around the same principle: understand how the business works before touching any software.

Troy's background is not typical for a Zoho implementation partner.
Before founding Matrix Connect Group, he spent years in enterprise technology with Canon, Konica Minolta, Ricoh, and Xerox. That experience gave him something most consultants do not have: a real understanding of how businesses at scale actually operate, where the friction lives, and what it takes to change how a team works, not just what tools they use.
He came to Zoho from the methodology side, not the software side. He was already a PMI-ACP certified agilist and SAFe Scrum Master before he became a certified Zoho partner. That sequence matters because it means every Zoho One system he builds is designed around a functioning process, not the other way around.
"Most business owners I talk to have already tried to fix this themselves. They have connected apps through Zapier, built reporting in spreadsheets, hired someone to manage the stack. It works for a while. But it is fragile. One thing changes and the whole setup needs rebuilding. What we do is replace that fragility with something actually designed to hold up as the business grows." โ Troy Mobley, Founder
There are a lot of Zoho consultants. Some are large offshore agencies running multiple projects simultaneously. Some are freelancers who completed a certification course. Some are generalist IT firms that added Zoho to their service list. The difference comes down to a few things.
There is no handoff once the project starts. The Team scopes it, designs it, and sees it through. Client stakeholders must engage in each iteration. Their feedback is what makes an implementation actually work, not just look right.
Every implementation begins with a proper assessment of how the business currently operates. We map the processes, identify where the manual work is, and figure out what the system needs to do before we configure anything. Most implementation problems happen because this step gets skipped.
Your business does not stop running while we build the system. Each phase is deployed, tested, and refined before the next one starts. You see results within the first few weeks, not at the end of a six-month project.
Your sales team needs to know how to use the CRM. Your finance team needs to know how to run reports. Your operations manager needs to understand the automations. We train each group for how they will actually use the system, not a general walkthrough that covers everything and helps nobody in particular.
The first three months after launch are usually when the most important refinements happen. The team is using the system in the real world, finding edge cases, figuring out what needs adjusting. We are there for that.
Most Zoho consultants split their attention across five or six platforms. We do not. Every implementation, every automation, and every integration we build runs on Zoho One. That focus means we have seen and solved most Zoho challenges before they reach your business.
Matrix Connect Group holds PMI-ACP certification issued by the Project Management Institute, the most widely recognized authority in project management. The credential validates applied knowledge of agile principles and practices across Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and XP.
SAFe Scrum Master certification validating the ability to facilitate SAFe events, coach teams in agile practices, and support the Agile Release Train across enterprise-scale environments.
Matrix Connect Group is officially certified by Zoho to implement, configure, and support the full Zoho One suite. Certification requires meeting Zoho's training and quality standards across the platform.
Matrix Connect Group collaborates with Agile Digest to bring structured agile methodology into every consulting and implementation engagement. Clients get a working Zoho system and a way of operating that helps their teams keep improving after launch.
The team has been implementing Zoho One across multiple industries, business sizes, and operational models for over a decade.
Every industry has its own way of operating. A real estate firm tracks commissions, listings, and client relationships differently from the way a logistics company tracks orders and fleet coordination. We scope every implementation around the industry in front of us.
Lead management, contract tracking, client communication, and commission reporting configured within Zoho One.
Client onboarding, project management, invoicing, and reporting for consultancies, agencies, and law firms.
Patient communication, appointment management, compliance tracking, and reporting within Zoho's secure environment.
Order management, customer updates, supply chain visibility, and coordination across teams and locations.
Job costing, subcontractor management, client communication, and project dashboards for field operations.
"Before working with Matrix Connect Group, we were running our business across five different tools and still could not get a clean report out of any of them. After implementation, our leadership team finally had reporting they could trust and act on."
"I had an excellent experience with Matrix Connect. Professional, great quality work, and outstanding service throughout. Troy was accommodating through every change we asked for. Would recommend without hesitation."

Matrix Connect Group was founded by Troy Mobley, a certified Zoho partner with over 10 years of experience in business consulting and Zoho One implementation, including full Microsoft Dynamics 365 migrations. Troy came from the operational side of business first and built his technical expertise around understanding how companies actually run day to day. He works directly on every client engagement.
We are based in Essex, Maryland (602 Virginia Ave, Essex, MD 21221). We serve businesses throughout Maryland, including Baltimore, Annapolis, Columbia, Rockville, Silver Spring, and Frederick, as well as businesses across the United States. Yes. Matrix Connect Group is an officially certified Zoho partner. Certification requires meeting Zoho's training and quality standards across the platform. We are also a partner with Agile Digest, which brings structured agile methodology into every consulting and implementation engagement.
We work primarily with small and midsize businesses, typically between 5 and 200 employees, that are growing and need their systems to catch up with their operations. Our clients are usually past the startup stage, generating real revenue, and running into friction from tools that were never designed to work together.
