The Problem

What Happens Without Zoho TouchPoint

Business cards disappear before anyone follows up.

A paper card lands in a jacket pocket or a desk drawer. No CRM record is created. No follow-up fires. The contact is lost the same day you met them.

Events produce conversations, not pipeline.

You meet people, exchange cards, and by the time you are back at your desk, half the names are gone. No record exists in your CRM because nothing was captured at the point of contact.

Your email signature collects no leads.

Hundreds of emails go out every month. The signature shows a name and phone number. It links nowhere and captures nothing. Every outbound email is a missed opportunity to route someone into your pipeline.

Your CRM is missing contacts you know you met.

Manual entry does not happen consistently. Contacts from last quarter’s conference never made it into the system. Follow-up did not happen because no record existed to trigger it.

Real estate agents in Maryland, DC, Virginia, and California lose deals to these gaps regularly. So do independent consultants and professional services firms nationwide. Zoho TouchPoint closes each one.

What Matrix Connect Group Sets Up

Digital Profile + NFC

Digital Profile and NFC Card

A branded digital profile is built with your logo, bio, contact details, and relevant links. The NFC card is configured and tested before delivery. When someone taps the card on an NFC-enabled phone, your profile opens in their browser. No app required on their end. The profile links to a vCard download so contacts can save your information directly to their phone. The profile is editable at any time. The physical card does not need to be replaced or reprinted when your information changes, because the card points to the profile, not to fixed data.

QR Codes

Dynamic QR Codes

One QR code is generated per use case: open house, yard sign, listing flyer, event table, and conference handout. Each code uses a dynamic link so the destination can be updated without generating a new code. QR scans are tracked by campaign, location, and time of day. Print-ready files are delivered for every code.

Email Signatures

Interactive Email Signature CTAs

A clickable signature template is built per team member with CTA buttons, social links, and other interactive elements. The CTA links to a booking page, an active listing, a lead capture form, or a resource download depending on the team member’s role. One template rolls out across every mailbox in the company.

CRM Integration

Zoho CRM Integration

Lead forms are connected to each touchpoint. Every tap on an NFC card, every QR scan routed through a form, and every email signature click is pushed to Zoho CRM automatically without manual entry. Field mapping, lead source tags, and pipeline stage assignment are defined and configured during setup. A full end-to-end test run is completed before the system goes live.

Process

How We Implement Zoho TouchPoint

Step 1

Discovery

We map your networking workflow, event calendar, and current Zoho CRM configuration. We identify which touchpoints you need and define what should happen in CRM when each one is triggered.

Step 2

Profile and Card Build

The branded digital profile is created, the NFC card is configured, and QR codes are generated per use case. Everything is tested before anything goes live.

Step 3

Email Signature Deployment

Signature templates are built per team member, CTAs are linked to specific destinations, and signatures are deployed across your email client or domain.

Step 4

CRM Integration and Automation

Fields are mapped, pipeline stages are assigned, follow-up triggers are configured, and a full end-to-end test run is completed.

Step 5

Go-Live and Handoff

We walk you through the taps, page views, form submissions, and link clicks dashboards and confirm every touchpoint is routing leads correctly before closing the engagement.

Common Questions

Zoho TouchPoint: Questions and Answers

Zoho TouchPoint is used to capture leads at networking interactions and route them automatically into Zoho CRM. It supports NFC cards, digital profiles, dynamic QR codes, and email signature CTAs. Each interaction where a contact submits their details creates a record in Zoho CRM with lead source tagging.

Yes. NFC cards work on any NFC-enabled phone. The recipient opens your digital profile in their browser with no app required on their end.

Yes. The NFC card stores no data. It points to your digital profile. When you update the profile, anyone who taps the card after that sees the current version. The physical card does not need to be reprinted or replaced.

A lead form is attached to each touchpoint. When a contact submits the form, their details are pushed to Zoho CRM automatically without manual entry. Zoho CRM then executes the automation rules configured during setup, including follow-up emails and pipeline stage assignment.

Zoho TouchPoint tracks taps, page views, form submissions, and link clicks per touchpoint. QR code scans are additionally tracked by campaign, location, and time of day.

Zoho TouchPoint integrates natively with Zoho CRM and can also be used as a standalone contact capture and lead form tool. If a Zoho CRM subscription is not already in place, it can be added as part of the same setup engagement.

Standard implementation takes 1 to 2 weeks from kickoff. Timeline depends on team size, number of touchpoint types, and the complexity of the Zoho CRM integration.

No. Anyone can view a shared digital profile or landing page in a mobile browser with no app or download required.
